Biafra: Biafra Referendum And What Africa Stands To
Benefit As AU Backs/Ensures A Peaceful Process
Biafra Referendum Is A Right Approach To The Freedom Of
Biafrans And Afican Union Must Show Leadership And
Precedence To Human Lives Across The Continent

The first set of questions that comes to mind whenever the
talks on Biafra referendum is put in perspective among
faithfuls and sympathizers is often the question of how
bloody the exercise would be - the security of the process.

People begin to imagine how the whole matter is going to
go down in lieu of the several unchallenged highhandedness
of the occupying forces of the joint military and paramilitary
outfits. They continue: are we sure it is not another means
of giving easy baitings to the blood-thirsty government of
Muhammadu Buhari and his Fulani cabal? the people keep
asking!

In all these questions and genuine fears and concerns
among the Biafran population and individual foreign friends
and sympathizers, I see a people stuck in a World of
despots, liers, deceivers, blood-suckers, conspirators,
unconcerned, hypocrites and irresponsible leadership, to
mention but a few. Our World has gone blind! Human life
no longer means a thing to humanity! Darkness has
beclouded our original sense of reasoning and empathy!

The evil of lust for material things has ravaged humanity so
devastatingly!
United Nations has forgotten the rights of all indigenous
people Worldwide as declared by the general assembly of
heads of state and government and domesticated by
African Union and all the members of the United Nations
and African Union respectively. The statutory and legal
strength of this article 20 declaration has been transacted
for material benefits by all the organizations responsible for
the enforcement of same!

If truly, the African Union is truly poised to protect the
human rights of citizens of all member Nations from
violation and desecration, as has turned a staring and
barbarous tradition among vast majority of her members
and Nigeria, the principal violators in this context, the
African Union, through her statutory institutions such as her
commission, must not only give an unchallenged support to
Biafra 'REFERENDUM', but also saddle the commission with
the responsibility of enforcing same, being a very peaceful
approach to modern standard for freedom.
Enough of the killings and unchecked maiming across
Africa by sitting despots and tyrants in governments.

Colonial administration, which ravaged Africa in the past,
and got her chunk of blames for various misadventures in
the black continent called Africa is now, truly over. If
Africans truly have the capacity to run their affairs and lead
the turn of political Reformation that shall heal Africa from
all foreign imposed and inorganic creations, the much
campaigned Biafra referendum now presents itself as an
outstanding test of strength of black civilization as against
the rhetorics of 'interruption of black civilization' by the
invading white colonial administration.

The World has truly and obviously gone mute! Waiting for
African Union to intervene and show leadership, at least for
once.

BENEFITS OF AU BACKED BIAFRA REFERENDUM

1)Africa as a continent shall be respected by the rest of the
civilized World for once.

2)African leaders shall be allowed to make decisions for
the welbeing of the continent and citizens alike

3)There shall be renewed commitment to leadership across
Africa

4) Indigenous populations across Africa that seek self-rule,
shall never resort to Arms struggle, which has battered the
image of the continent before the entire World, but go
through an African Union backed Referendum, thereby
avoiding bloodshed and attendant chaos.

5) There shall be a renewed commitment and belief in the
leadership across Africa among the youths and the black
citizens in general.

6) Africa as an emerging Continent shall be the choicest
place for investors from all across the globe

7)Biafrans shall work with other Nations across Africa
towards creating that truly technological continent that shall
stand shoulder to shoulder with other nations/continents of
advanced technology and in the comity of World Nations

8) A great Africa shall breed renewed confidence and pride
among all black people Worldwide, where human rights of
her citizens shall fall within the exclusive priority of the
black Nations and leadership.

9) The Era of potential and creative Africans trooping out
across the World for greener pastures shall be truly over.

10) Africa shall create her dreams into realities.
11) There shall be renewed 'HOPE' across Africa, and Africa
shall be a better place for all.
In the words of Mike Murdoch, the great philosopher " You
will be remembered for two things, the problems you solved
or the ones you created".

The current flocks of leaders across Africa have the golden
opportunity now to scribble their names in the annals of
time. Supporting Biafra would be a solution to a plight,
ignoring Biafra referendum would spell doom for the whole
continent of Africa. A stitch in time also saves nine.

In the phylosophies of Martin Luther King jnr." The ultimate
measure of a man, is not where he stands in moments of
comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of
challenge and controversy"-This should serve as a great
lesson to the rest of Africans and the black people as a
whole in this great moment of attention.

Africa must rise
from the crucibles, only if black life and freedom is given
needed premium.
In conclusion, support Biafra referendum now for a greater,
peaceful and more cohesive Africa.

Must Read: IPOB Asks A’court to void order proscribing it as terrorist organization -Risingsuntv

By Ikechukwu Nnochiri

ABUJA – The Indegeniuos People of Biafra, IPOB, on
Thursday, went before the Court of Appeal in Abuja to
challenge the order that proscribed and designated it as a
terrorist organisation.

IPOB cartoon

IPOB, through its lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, is praying the
appellate court to set aside in its entirety, the ruling/final
decision of the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High
Court, Justice Abdul Abdu-Kafarati, which on September
15, 2017, outlawed its activities in Nigeria.

It will be recalled that the high court proscribed IPOB on
the strength of an ex-parte motion the Attorney General of
the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar
Malami, SAN, filed on behalf of the federal government.

Justice Kafafati specifically declared as illegal, all
activities of the group, particularly in the South-east and
South-South regions of the country.

He further restrained “any person or group of persons
from participating in any of the group’s activities”.

The Judge directed the AGF to ensure that he published
the order proscribing IPOB in the official gazette, as well
as in two national dailies.

In a follow-up ruling on January 22, 2018, the court
dismissed a motion IPOB filed to challenge the legal
validity of the proscription order which it said was
surreptitiously obtained by the AGF.

IPOB had alleged that the AGF suppressed and
misrepresented facts in the affidavit evidence he tendered
before the court, adding that the proscription order was
tantamount to declaring over 30million Nigerians of Igbo
extraction as terrorists.

While dismissing the motion, Justice Abdu-Kafarati said
he was satisfied that IPOB constituted a threat to national
security.

He rejected Ejiofor’s argument that the group, not being a
registered entity in Nigeria, could not be validly sued by
the FG.

The court said the fact that IPOB claimed that it was
registered in over 40 countries in the world aside Nigeria,
did not exculpate it from legal liabilities if it was found to
have by its activities, violated any law in Nigeria.

Meantime, in its five grounds of appeal, IPOB contended
that Justice Abdu-Kafarati erred in law and occasioned a
miscarriage of justice, when he ruled that the mandatory
statutory condition requiring President Muhammadu
Buhari’s approval, under Section 2 (1) (C) of the
Terrorism (Prevention) (Amendment) Act, 2013, was
satisfied, on the authority of a Memo the AGF issued on
September 15, 2017.

It told the appellate court that the lower court Judge failed
to evaluate, consider or mention in his rulings, affidavit
evidence that was tendered to establish that IPOB was
not a violent organisation.

“Proper findings of facts built on a meticulous evaluation
of Affidavit evidence placed before the Court below, will
resolve whether the activities and characters of the
Appellant as clearly distinguished vide compelling exhibits
placed before the Court, meet the threshold definition of
terrorism acts, as contemplated under Section 2 (i) (a)
(b) & (c) of the Terrorism Prevention (Amendment) Act,
2013.

“The Appellant’s activities as contested in its written
submission before the Trial Court, strongly supported by
credible Affidavit evidence falls short of acts of terrorism
as contemplated under Section 2 (1) (A) (B) & (C) of the
Terrorism (Prevention) (Amendment) Act; this
submission was not considered by the Learned Trial
Judge.

“The Learned Trial Judge justified the granting of the
Exparte Order of 20th September 2017, vide finding of
facts predicated on issues he formulated suo motu,
ostensibly closing his eyes to facts, as well as documents
that show that the Appellant is a group of persons holding
common political belief largely made up of indigenous
people of Igbo extraction and other neighboring regions
merely exercising their constitutional rights to self-
determination, within the bounds of relevant international
instruments and conventions.

“Affidavit evidence placed before the Trial Court shows in
clear terms that the Appellant does not possess any form
of arms, or weapons in the exercise of their
constitutionally guaranteed rights; or have any history of
violence or had engaged in any form of killings; the
activities of the Appellant are essentially characterized by
moving in groups with cardboards and placards in their
hands, singing, blowing whistles and flutes, in agitation
for self-determination; these compelling facts clearly
supported by credible evidence were not evaluated by the
Court below in its finding of facts.

“Activities of the Appellant as demonstrated before the
lower court, is in sharp contrast with characters of
notorious groups that have even used violence such as
FULANI HERDSMEN (which has been declared the 4th
most dangerous terrorist organization in the world), and
none of these violent group has earned terrorist tag,
because the President most probably considered them as
possessing or professing protected political beliefs”, IPOB
added.
Meanwhile, no date has been fixed for hearing of the appeal.

BIAFRA: IPOB mourns The Death of Achuzie The Biafran Air Raid - Risingsuntv

With deep sense of loss and sorrow the entire family and leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide join the immediate family members, relatives and Biafrans both home and abroad to commiserate over the sudden demise of our icon, hero and great Biafran warrior of our time Chief (Col) Joe Achuzie who slept in the bosom of the Most High on Monday 26 February 2018 in his home town of Asaba Delta State after a brief illness.
. Hannibal and Air Raid as he was fondly called till his death, was an extraordinary and exceptional charismatic personality and finest battle-field commander of towering repute.

He Col. Achuzia and his war time colleague Timothy Onwuatuegwu most represented the spirit of bravery and patriotism which characterized the military campaign that prevented the annihilation and Islamisation of the Biafran race. He led the gallant Biafran soldiers that inflicted heavy defeat on the enemy at Abagana; he masterminded the recapture of Owerri the then capital of Biafra from a better equipped British backed Russian armed Nigerian Army.
Col. Joe Achuzia will be remembered by history as one of the finest and bravest soldiers the world had ever seen. Though his exploits were in a quickly forgotten war in black Africa, the magnitude of his accomplishments put in context ranks amongst the greatest military feats of the modern era.
From his heroics in the famous Abagana Sector victory over Murtala Mohammed to his recapture of Owerri, Col. Achuzia left an indelible mark that will be acknowledged by every generation of Biafrans until the end of time.
He is our icon and all time hero. Chief (Col.) Joe Achuzia marched his footsteps on the hallowed soil of Biafra during his youthful days for the liberation and betterment of Biafra. He left a legacy this generation will forever be grateful to him for. We pledge to peacefully continue from where he left off until Biafra is fully restored the same way he restored our dignity in the battlefield against all the odds. Our hero Achuzia came, saw, fought and overcame our enemies. We his children IPOB family members worldwide, owe it to him and posterity to continue this great fight he fought for all his life until the liberation of Biafraland, from the vicious grip of the oppressors, is irreversibly accomplished to his memory and glory of God.

PROSCRIPTION: IPOB vindicated as DSS, others are fingered in 611 smuggled rifles

One of the accused persons standing trial over unlawful importation of 661 sophisticated pump action rifles into the country last December, Mamudu Hassan, has revealed to Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday, that he paid a sum of N1 million to officials of the Department of State Security, DSS, and other security agencies to smuggle the guns out of Apapa Ports.

Remember that, the leadership the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, activities were proscribed following an accusation of illogical arms importation levied on their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal government of Nigeria earlier last year.
Mamudu, a retired Assistant Comptroller of Customs, stated this in a recorded video during his interrogation by men of the DSS.

The video, recorded on March 27, 2017, between the hours of 2 p.m., and 2.45p.m., was tendered by an operative of DSS, Jaiye Emmanuel at the resumed trial-within-trial, as Mamudu gave a breakdown of how the N1 million was shared among DSS and other security agencies.

He said: “I gave N1 million to facilitate the moving of the container out of port, but it is not because of the guns.” When Mamudu was asked how the N1 million was shared among security agencies, he said:

 “The examiners were given N200,000; C.I.O. N100,000; Enforcement N200,000; Police, SSS — between N20, 000, N25, 000, and N30, 000; the two gates — N200,000; Exit gate, N20,000, and final gate N50,000.”

Mamudu also told the investigators in the video that he first agreed with the importer of the guns for N3.8 million, when he was first told that the consignments were steel doors, but raised the cost of clearing the consignment to N4 million, when he was told that the consignment included 661 pump action guns.
The video recording was admitted in evidence, while further hearing continues.

Biafra: Factional IPOB leader emerges - Risingsuntv

Biafra: Factional IPOB leader emerges - Risingsuntv

•Our spokesman’ll respond to claims –

Group’s member Chuks Onuoha , Umuahia

A new factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Okwudili Ezenachukwu, has emerged.

Ezenachukwu, who emerged as IPOB factional leader as a result of alleged internal disaffection created by one Uche Mefor, Kanu’s deputy director of Radio Biafra London, who suspended and expelled some key national and state officers appointed by Chidiebere Onwudiwe, called on all pro-Biafra groups to unite in pursuit of their dream, which is the restoration of Biafra.
Responding to Ezenachukwu’s claim, a member of the group, who pleaded anonymity, said IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, who could not be reached yesterday, would respond today.

Earlier, Ezenachukwusaid the era of brandishing self titles, self- glorification, selfishness and self -superiority, which leads to self-destruction has gone, adding that leadership of pro Biafra groups must come together now in the interest of Biafra. Ezenachukwu, who spoke with Daily Sun in a telephone interview, warned other pro Biafra groups and followers of Nnamdi Kanu, whose whereabouts remains a mystery, to stop adhering and introducing inconsequential propaganda. According to him, propaganda is dangerous and meaningless to the holistic struggle for Biafra restoration.

“The journey for Biafra restoration is not only the duty of pro Biafra groups, political, religious, traditional and opinion leaders of Eastern Region, but that of those Igbo who have one role or the other to play, even if they are governors of states.
“IPOB will no longer insult Igbo leaders in public; it makes the Hausa Fulani people happy and more comfortable in discrediting Ndigbo. It also creates a huge gap between the pro Biafra groups and Igbo leaders.

“We wish to clarify that IPOB will no longer insult or use hate speeches against leaders; we wish to revive our former glory which everybody appreciated. “We cannot continue to recoil on ideas and methodologies that endanger the lives and property of our people,” he explained.

The new IPOB leader said the group does not have problem with South East governors, including Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, who was not consulted after the former leader was released from detention and advised accordingly, “but, he still went ahead to do what his mind told him, which has kept them where they are today.

“Ikpeazu respected Kanu’s father when there was pressure to dethrone him, resisted pressure to re-arrest Kanu,” the leader of the group said. He called on South East governors to review the proscription of IPOB, as the new leadership under him is ready to partner with them to salvage the situation they have been thrown into by the former leadership.

“We disassociate ourselves from the earlier statement credited to IPOB through Emma Powerful, as we have realised that creating problems and disaffection through the media propaganda will not give us Biafra.”

On how he emerged as IPOB’s factional leader, Ezenachukwu said Onwudiwe was IPOB national coordinator, before he was arrested and detained. Mefor, who literarily took over the leadership of IPOB when Kanu was in detention, also suspended some key international officers and pilars of IPOB, which include Uchenna Asiegbu, Clifford Iroanya, Emma Nmezu and other diaspora coordinators.

“As a result of that, other diaspora officers and representatives pulled out of Kanu’s leadership when efforts to settle the internal wrangling with Kanu failed. “Back home, aggrieved members felt abandoned when Kanu’s action attracted killings of members in Umuahia, Aba and Onitsha.
“There was no proper accountability and compensations to the families of the dead. So, thousands of progressives who pulled out of Kanu’s leadership, rallied round me and encouraged me to lead. That was how I emerged as the leader of IPOB,” he said.

NnamdiKanu:You warned us but we didn’t listen, now we’ve seen it – Fani kayode spit fire, (must read) - Right

Remembering Nnamdi Kanu in a tweet, where he also shared a photo he had with the pro-Biafra leader, Fani- Kayode said he (Kanu) will live forever.

He wrote, “You saw it all coming and you warned us but we refused to listen. “Our eyes have finally opened and now we know better.

I miss you my brother. “Men of vision, courage and strength are few in our land. Wherever you are and whatever they have done to you know this: you shall live forever!”

How “Ikpeazu Plotted To Assassinate Nnamdi Kanu” – IPOB - RisingSunTV

February 21, 2018 0
How “Ikpeazu Plotted To Assassinate Nnamdi Kanu” – IPOB - RisingSunTV

Over the coming days and weeks, Okezie Ikpeazu will be methodically and systematically shredded publicly for his blatant lies against our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the great IPOB movement he leads. It will be in his best interest and that of his Northern handlers to publish whatever material at his disposal that will lend credence to his assertions, chiefly that our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu reneged on agreements reached with him and other South East governors during his interview granted to BBC Igbo Service in the Government House Umuahia. He must tell the world, where, when and with whom he met Nnamdi Kanu.

We will not allow him to get away with this bare- faced deceit and lies. Lying has become second nature to most of these Hausa Fulani stooges masquerading as politicians in Igboland especially. These peddling of lies and distortion of facts against Kanu is a well orchestrated plan conceived prior to Operation Python Dance 2 which they the governors initiated with Nnia Nwodo.
They hoped to use compromised media channels like the BBC to peddle these lies that they had an agreement with Kanu when such never happened. Okezie Ikpeazu is a mass murderer cited at the ongoing case review by ICC at the Hague. He is also indicted in ongoing law suit in the USA. He has been rejected by the public along with his other Fulani Islamic servants at Government Houses across the South East, so lying against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or using his name is the only way to gain relevance and sympathy. Anybody who believes in anything coming out of the mouth of an Igbo governor or Nnia Nwodo led Ohaneze Ndigbo needs psychiatric help.
Okezie Ikpeazu failed to understand that the highly respected and foremost constitutional lawyer Prof. Ben Nwabueze was at the meeting between Nnamdi Kanu and Igbo governors which he Okezie Ikpeazu did not attend. We ask between Okezie Ikpeazu and Prof Ben Nwabueze who has more credibility? The truth about how Igbo governors and Nnia Nwodo out of petty envy and jealousy of the popularity and public acceptance of Nnamdi Kanu arranged for Hausa Fulani soldiers to use the cover of Operation Python Dance to assassinate him is well known to the world.

“Ikpeazu Plotted To Assassinate Nnamdi Kanu” – IPOB Okezie Ikpeazu should keep his testimony and evidence with him because he will soon be called upon to give account of his role in the military invasion and abduction of Nnamdi Kanu and his parents from their home. We are placing the world on notice that Okezie Ikpeazu have never met with our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu despite the fact that Umuahia government house sits on his ancestral land and his father the traditional ruler.
Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu is an unrepentant liar in the mould of other Igbo Biafra traitors before him. The day of reckoning is fast approaching and when that arrives, there will be no amount of Ghana Must Go bags or Hausa Fulani soldiers to defend them.
