Should FG negotiate release of Dapchi girls with Boko Haram? (3) - Risingsuntv

In my view, I don’t think it is right for the Federal
Government to dialogue with any terrorist group. The
government should not negotiate with them for the
release of the kidnapped girls. Boko Haram succeeded in
taking the girls hostage because of insufficient security
personnel.

Bukar, 13 and Yagana Mustapha, 15, four schoolgirls of
Government Girls Technical College, who escaped from
Boko Haram attack, sit at home of schoolmate at Dapchi
town in northern Nigerian on February 28, 2018.

Nigeria’s government on March 1 said it had set up a
committee to establish how Boko Haram jihadists
managed to kidnap 110 girls from their school in the
country’s remote northeast. Members of the militant
Islamist group stormed the Government Girls Science and
Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe state, on February 19,
nearly four years after a similar mass abduction in

I don’t think the Federal Government should negotiate
with the terrorists. No developed country negotiates with
terrorists.

America cannot do such a thing, it will use all
possible means to rescue the captured girls. Considering
the lives of the students, there is a way the government
can do it.

They should go all out against the terrorists in
their hideouts

In the first place, there was no kidnap, as it were! It is
another scam to make money! Moreover, it is another plot
to demand billions of dollars to share among themselves.

This is the same Boko Haram they claimed to have
technically, defeated.

Negotiating with Boko Haram means encouraging
terrorism. In fact, I am disappointed. It shows they know
whom they are dealing with. Why are they using the
school girls to compound the problems of this country?

Does the law recommend such negotiations? If yes, fine.

If there should be a reprisal attack, this may cause further
damage to lives and property. The parents are worried
and want their children home at all costs.

The
government should use everything at its disposal to
rescue them because the number of missing students is
high.

Any government that negotiates with terrorists is giving
room to war mongers to succeed. The government
should not go into negotiations with terrorists. it should
put machineries in place and fight to conquer.

First, it
must check the intricacies surrounding this act being
mindful of the existence of saboteurs.
